Resource Centre JOHSC Recognized for Leadership in Psychological Health & Safety

The Coast Mental Health – Resource Centre Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC) has been recognized as the March Psychological Health and Safety (PHS) Pilot Draw Winner through SWITCH BC’s JOHSC PHS Pilot Program.

This recognition highlights the committee’s strong commitment to workplace safety and staff well‑being, as well as their active participation in a province‑wide effort to strengthen psychological health and safety across B.C.’s healthcare sector.

Through the pilot program, the Resource Centre JOHSC is helping test and inform practical tools that support healthier, safer workplaces. Their participation provides early access to PHS resources while ensuring frontline perspectives help shape tools before broader provincial rollout.

The work of JOHSCs plays a vital role in creating safe, respectful, and supportive environments at Coast Mental Health. We thank the Resource Centre JOHSC for their leadership, collaboration, and continued dedication to staff well‑being.
