SUPPORT IN CRISIS?

Need help now?

If you or someone you know is having a mental health or substance use crisis, call 911 or go to your local hospital emergency room, or call the Crisis Line at 310-6789 (no area code needed).

Alternatively, if you need to talk to someone right now, please call:

  • The Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Centre of BC – Suicide Hotline NOW at 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433).
  • The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) – Dial 988 to reach someone immediately.

If you’re looking for more information on mental illness, you can find resources at the HereToHelp website.

Coast Mental Health works in partnership with clients, local health authorities, family doctors and other organizations to match people with Coast’s resources: housing, support services and employment & education opportunities. We do not maintain our own housing registry or work directly with individuals to match them to available housing.

YOUR SUPPORT SAVES LIVES

Your donation to Coast Mental Health Foundation provides essential housing, support, and employment services for people with mental illness so they can find their meaningful place in our community – a place to live, a place to connect, and a place to work.
