On August 1, 2026, Coast Mental Health’s role as service provider at Maple Ridge HUB will come to a close.
Over the past two years, the HUB has provided a safe, low-barrier space where people could access meals, showers, clothing, housing support, health-care referrals and connections to community services. Working alongside the City of Maple Ridge, community partners, volunteers and staff, Coast helped support a welcoming environment where community members experiencing homelessness and poverty could access support with dignity and respect.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Maple Ridge for its partnership and commitment to maintaining this important service. We are also deeply grateful to the many community organizations, service providers and volunteers whose dedication, collaboration and compassion helped make the HUB a valued community resource.
Thank you as well to the Coast staff who supported the HUB throughout this transition. Your professionalism, flexibility and commitment helped ensure continuity of service and ongoing support for community members.
While Coast’s role at the HUB is ending, our commitment to Maple Ridge remains strong. We will continue supporting the community through permanent and supportive housing, outreach services, mental health and recovery programs, and other person-centred supports that help people build stability and improve their well-being.
