*Bylaw Amendment

The British Columbia Housing Management Commission has requested Coast Foundation Society (1974) (the Society) to add an amendment* to the bylaws, confirming the Society’s commitment to supported/affordable housing in British Columbia. This amendment will be put forward to the membership for approval at this year’s Annual General Meeting.

*Bylaw 19.5 to be added to the bylaws for members’ approval:

19.5 Affordable Housing Purpose: The society will not alter or delete the affordable housing purpose set out in its constitution as item 2 without first obtaining the written consent of the British Columbia Housing Management Commission.

**Carma Rogers Awards

The Carma Rogers Awards will be presented to one client from each Coast program at this year’s Annual General Meeting. The Carma Rogers Award recognizes Coast clients for their ‘spirit of passion and creativity, service to others and contribution to Coast community, perseverance and self-determination, thoughtfulness and caring for other Coast members’.
