Coast Mental Health Releases 2024/2025 Annual Report: Laying the Foundation for Our Future
Vancouver, BC – July 16, 2025 – Coast Mental Health is proud to announce the release of its 2024/2025 Annual Report, Laying the Foundation for our Future, highlighting a transformative year of goal setting and investments in mental health services across our 53 facilities in Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Guided by its 2024–2027 Strategic Plan: Building a Healthy Approach, Coast Mental Health is making progress in four key priority areas: Healthy Clients & Programs, Healthy Employees, Healthy Organization, and Healthy Communities.
Coast shared the 2024/2025 Annual Report at its Annual General Meeting on July 16, where, employees, clients, supporters, and stakeholders celebrated the year’s successes. “This past year was all about laying the foundation for Coast Mental Health’s future,” said Stephen Butz, Board Chair, and Keir Macdonald, CEO, in a joint message. “We’ve taken meaningful steps to bring our bold vision to life—through strengthened leadership, focused planning, and new investments across the region.”
Key Highlights from 2024/2025
- $63 M in revenues for FY2024-2025
- 1,061 homes with supports across 53 facilities. An additional 246 people supported with rent subsidies and outreach to live independently
- 458,000+ meals served across Coast Mental Health facilities
- 206 clients employed across Coast Mental Health’s facilities
- 315 clients participated in Brain Training
- Over 100 active partnerships with government agencies, First Nations, local businesses, academia, and non-profits
This year’s report reflects Coast Mental Health’s unwavering commitment to building a healthier, more connected response to mental illness—one that empowers recovery with dignity, and within the communities where they live and call home.
