Transitional Employment Program (TEP) & Coast On-Site Solutions

The Clubhouse is home to Coast’s Transitional Employment Program (TEP), which provides paid, entry-level employment opportunities that help individuals build skills, gain confidence, and successfully transition back into the workforce employment units

Participants can take on work placements that:

Provide real-world job experience

Offer a work reference based on their contributions

Allow individuals to try different types of work that focuses on janitorial and street cleaning services that help keep our communities clean, safe, and welcoming while providing meaningful employment opportunities.

TEP placements are designed to reduce barriers to employment by providing:

A supportive work environment without traditional interviews
On-the-job training
Flexibility for health-related absences
The focus is on helping build skills and maintain employment. Work assignments are based on their skills, abilities, and support needs.
Participants are supported by Clubhouse staff who are certified employment counsellors. After completing a placement, individuals may pursue another opportunity or move into independent employment or training.
