Street Outreach Program

Coast’s Street Outreach Program provides support to adults who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. The program helps people access essential services, build stability, and connect with resources that support their health, housing, and well-being.

Outreach workers provide practical, person-centred support based on each individual’s needs. This may include help accessing emergency shelter, food, housing supports, healthcare services, income assistance, tax filing, housing applications, and other community resources. For those who require ongoing support, the outreach team can help navigate systems and connect individuals to services that promote long-term stability and recovery.

The Outreach Program operates from Coast’s Resource Centre in Downtown Vancouver and from community locations in Maple Ridge. A dedicated Youth Outreach Program also supports young adults ages 19 to 30 in Maple Ridge.
