The Courage To Come Back Awards pay tribute to those who have overcome overwhelming challenges and now selflessly give back to their community. They are the hidden everyday heroes that deserve to be recognized and be celebrated for their contributions to our communities.
This year’s recipients were celebrated by 1,500 people at the Vancouver Convention Centre on May 7 2025. The event also raised a phenomenal $2 million for community mental health programming at Coast Mental Health.
Coast Mental Health’s Courage To Come Back Awards – presented by Wheaton Precious Metals – is one of the largest award galas of its kind in Western Canada and a great opportunity to celebrate extraordinary stories of triumph against adversity. The event has raised over $29 million in the last 27 years to support folks living with mental illness.
