Support Services

A lot of changes have been required over the pandemic to meet the safety requirements set by B.C.’s Provincial Health Officers. This has meant pivoting or adapting many of our support services to ensure our doors remained open.

Thankfully, caring people like you helped ensure Clients stayed connected to the daily supports they need to manage their wellness.

Employment & Education

Employment offers more than financial peace of mind for those who use our services. It also helps them socialize and discover a sense of purpose. These are a vital part of recovery and wellness.

Generous people like you help support honorarium programs, Peer Support Training and our Street Clean team at a time when we’re seeing more people than ever looking for employers that understand the needs of folks living with mental illness.

Combating the Opioid Crisis

Through our Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) pilot program and harm reduction initiatives, hundreds of deadly overdoses have been prevented. This program creates a safe space for people with opioid dependency to access harm reduction supports, treatments and safety supplies.

Gifts like yours are saving lives. With support from people like you, we can continue to ensure people in need access these important services.

Affordable meal programs

These provide healthy, balanced meals to those who most need it. Since the beginning of the pandemic, your donations have allowed us to adapt, and provide to-go meals. We've seen an increase in people using these services: access to reliable food sources is an important necessity, especially during a time of uncertainty.

Your gifts make these and many more programs possible! You are vital to empowering mental health without boundaries.

“So many of people with chronic mental illness have been struggling, even more so during the pandemic. One of our clients, Herb, battled addiction for 18 years! Herb has been accessing brain training and it’s significantly improved his coordination and memory. He told me, “Now, I am able to deal with life on life’s terms. It has really changed my life.”

Other participants tell me how much they’ve improved and just feel happier overall. It’s so inspiring to see brain training making a difference!”

Your gift today will double to help even more people like Herb by restoring independence and hope to people on their journey to recovery.
