Coast utilizes a number of major organizations to supply benefits for its regular employees. Once an employee obtains regular status they receive booklets describing benefits. Completion of the necessary enrollment cards is necessary to ensure coverage. Enrollment forms are available through payroll. Changes to enrollment must be made through the payroll department.

Casual Staff receives a percentage of their salary in lieu of benefits. Casual Staff can participate in the Employee and Family Assistance program.
Coast maintains a Safety Committee and maintains its operation in keeping with Work Safe BC.
Coast employees are unionized either through the Hospital Employees Union or the Health Sciences Association of BC. Coast is represented in bargaining by the Health Employers Association of BC. The following are links to these organizations:
